Room Types
We stayed in a Superior Room at Hotel F6 and found it to be incredibly spacious and comfortable. There was a closet to hang your clothes, a desk & chair to get work done, as well as room for our two suitcases. The bed was large and comfortable and though we found it to be a bit softer than what we were used to, it did the trick nonetheless!
When it comes to room types you can choose standard, superior & deluxe. The biggest difference is the space in the room. The standard room is the smallest at about 270 square feet (25 square meters). The superior is the next step up at 290 square feet (27 square meters). Deluxe rooms offer a seating area with a couch, as well as a bathtub in the bathrooms. They are 450 square feet (42 square meters) and are the largest room type at Hotel F6.
Amenities
All rooms come with similar amenities. These include bathrobe & slippers, bidet, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, free WiFi and air conditioning. The bathroom comes with some toiletries, plenty of soft plush towels and a rainfall shower, which was truly magical after a busy day! The floors in the bathroom are even heated – which was a nice surprise!
Breakfast
Hotel F6’s buffet breakfast was the star of the show! They had something for everyone: including fruit, pastries, hard boiled eggs, porridge, veggies, sandwich meats, yogurt and cereal. It was the perfect way to fuel up for the day! On a morning where we had to leave for the airport before breakfast started, the staff was kind enough to pack us a breakfast to go.
Staff
We felt welcome at Hotel F6 from the moment we arrived. The front desk was extremely helpful at checking us in, giving us directions, making recommendations and ordering taxis for us. When we arrived in our room, we had a welcome note, along with some gummy candies. They were even very helpful assisting us with bringing ice to our room every night so Mark could ice an injury. It is evident the staff care about their guests experience and go out of their way to make it memorable.
Reservations
We recommend reserving Hotel F6 directly through their website if you want the best rate. Prices depend on the time of year you are traveling and room type you want, but range between 190€- 277€ per night ($210-$305). This rate is affordable given the spacious rooms, included breakfast and location in Helsinki.
